A Letter from David & Gina
Hello! We absolutely love being parents and enjoy family time so much. Our faith and strong circle of family and friends are a constant support in our lives. We love to celebrate life, stay active and healthy, and keep thankful hearts. As a family we love traveling to explore all the world has to offer. We both own businesses and can work from home, so we have a lot of time for our family as stay-home parents.
Adoption is already very close to our hearts, because adoption made us parents! Connecting with our daughter’s birth family has been such a blessing. We’re ready and excited to adopt again! If you’d like, we welcome an ongoing relationship with you at your comfort level. It would be amazing to learn about you and the life you want for your child.
We’ve been married for 12 years, after meeting in a restaurant during a rain storm in New York City. Ever since that day it’s felt like we’ve known each other forever. We always knew we wanted to grow our family through adoption and becoming parents to our daughter has been a beautiful experience. We cannot wait to share the love we have as parents with a second child!
Before we were parents, we dedicated time to helping homeless teens in NYC, which only increased our desire to raise children through adoption. We still share this passion for helping people in need and hope to model to our children the ways you can try to make an impact in another person’s life.
Together we enjoy:
• Weekends to the lake, beach, or mountains
• Making healthy home-cooked meals
• Family bike rides
• Water sports
• Skiing at Christmas
• Attending church
• After-dinner dance parties at home
I work part time as an editorial hairstylist a few days a month and run my own lifestyle beauty brand.
David says: I love that Gina is always focused on what’s important and present in a moment. She stays positive and has a passion for life! She faces any challenge with strength and enthusiasm. Seeing her as a mom has been amazing; Gina meets our daughter’s every need, always finding ways to laugh or connect with her.
• Enjoying the outdoors
• Road trips to see new places
• Clean living and cooking healthy meals
• Volunteering to help moms in need
• Styling hair and helping people see their natural beauty
I am an IT Sales Consultant and business owner.
Gina says: David is funny, strong, trustworthy, responsible, kind-hearted, hardworking, and wise. I love how he finds ways to include others in the fun and loves to enjoy life. David goes out of his way to help others and is passionate about treating people with respect and value. He’s a loving, involved dad, always there for us in every way. I can’t think of anything who cares more about family!
• Hiking, skiing, biking, cross fit, surfing, & swimming
• Serving at organizations that help youth in need
• Treating weekends like mini-vacations (great food, quality time with family, and fun!)
• Working with technology
Our daughter, Camila, is 6 years old and heading into first grade. We adopted her as a newborn and have a great open adoption with her birth family. Camila is fun, full of life, loving, and smart. She takes piano, dancing, and horseback riding lessons, and has been trying out for different sports (she’s a strong swimmer too!). Camila will be an amazing big sister and is excited we’re ready to adopt again.
What Open Adoption Means to Us: The relationship we share with our daughter’s birth family is full of mutual respect, love, and honor. We value each other and continue to grow a strong connection. We share visits with Camila’s birth parents, and regularly share updates through a private Facebook page. We also maintain a relationship with her extended birth family. We talk openly with Camila about adoption so that she grows up knowing her birth story and how we all came together. We feel thankful that our daughter has such a large circle of family to love her!
We love our neighborhood! It’s close to many parks, trails, duck ponds, bike paths, and lakes. From here we can easily drive to go skiing, hiking, or to the city. There are great shops, restaurants, and local activities for kids in town that we enjoy. We live near our daughter’s private Christian school too. Our cozy home has 3 bedrooms and a nice back yard with a play area and trampoline. We love using the bike trail behind our house that leads to a duck pond and the park. One day soon we plan to have a home with lots of land and space to explore!
Our Dog: Roxy is a mix of Dachshund, Terrier, and Chihuahua. She’s really cute, lots of fun, and a great part of our family!
We will extend all of our love to your child, dedicate our lives to caring and providing for him or her, and share everything we have. Our hope, as parents, is to cover our children’s world in love, laughter, and fullness of life. We promise to raise your baby in a warm, loving, caring, and fun home with God at the center.
We believe a child should feel seen, heard, and valued and we will do all we can to help him or her develop their unique talents, strengths, and interests, and to embrace our family’s adoption story. We will provide a strong education and healthy opportunities for sports, lessons, and more.
We believe that connection is the key to keeping our family strong. If you’re comfortable, you will always be a part of that. We’d feel blessed to share an open adoption with you and create a relationship that works best for you. We will always speak of you out of love and you would have such a special place in our hearts!
Praying for you, David & Gina

More About Our Family
Our Vacation Home
Together we built a beach house and we’re excited about all the family memories we will make there! The area if family-friendly, with horseback riding, beaches, and farmland nearby. Since our beach home is only a few hours away, we go several times a year to enjoy it!
Our daughter has the best grandparents and we spend a lot of time together. They are so excited to welcome another grandchild! Our brothers and sister don’t all live very close, but we see each other as much as possible. There are many cousins too—8 nieces and nephews, some of whom live close by.
Friends also play a huge part in our lives and they are like family to us. We have a diverse circle of friends who are regularly involved in our lives. When we get together with our friends and families we like to get out for fun activities, like apple picking, Easter egg hunts, pumpkin carving, skiing, ocean time, amusement parks, the zoo, and birthday parties. We have the best support system!
What Matters Most to Us
• Our faith and seeing God’s goodness in others and around us
Gina: I’m known for my very big laugh and being the life of the party. I also love funny animal videos (especially with llamas!).
David: I played the piano as a child, have acted in a few plays, and used to race 4-wheeler quads semi-professionally (I loved competing!).
